This policy explains what Give Me Paw collects when you use Give Me Paw website, why we collect it, and how to reach us about it. We are a small pet grooming business in Sun Valley, California - we do not sell your information.
What we collect
When you book an appointment we ask for your name, phone number, email address, and details about your pet (name, breed, and anything you tell us in the notes field). If you message us through the contact form we keep your name, email, phone number, and message so we can reply.
Our web server also keeps ordinary technical logs, such as your IP address and which pages were requested, to keep the site working and secure.
How we use it
We use your information to schedule and carry out your appointment, to send you booking confirmations and appointment reminders, and to answer your questions. We do not use it for advertising.
Text messages
If you check "Text me a reminder before my appointment" when booking, Give Me Paw will text one appointment reminder per booking from (818) 394-9503, at the lead time you chose. These are transactional messages about an appointment you booked - we do not send marketing or promotional texts.
Separately, if you text our number first, we will reply by text as part of that conversation - about grooming questions, timing, or a late arrival. Those replies are answers to a conversation you started.
Message frequency: 1 appointment reminder per booking. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call us at (818) 394-9503. You can also turn reminders off at any time on the "Manage my appointment" page linked in your confirmation email.
We will not share mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. Your number is shared only with our messaging provider (Telnyx) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you asked for.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run the business, and they only receive what they need to do their job: Telnyx delivers our text messages, Resend delivers our email, and our website runs on a private server at Hostinger. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep appointment and client records for as long as you remain a customer so we know your pet's grooming history, and afterwards only as long as we need them for our business and tax records.
Your choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email stella.givemepaw@gmail.com or call (818) 394-9503 and we will take care of it. Deleting your records may mean we lose your pet's grooming history.
Children
Our services are meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
